A bit far from main attractions

The location is good

This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience of our Malaysia trip and certainly not the relaxing beachfront resort experience we were expecting. The only positive aspect was the smooth check-in process. Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. We were assigned a room on an upper floor that required climbing stairs, which was extremely inconvenient while travelling with a stroller, luggage, and young children. The room itself was spacious enough, but it was poorly maintained and showed clear signs of neglect. From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues. The TV was not working, the basin was faulty, the towels were stained, and the basket holding the toiletries was rotten underneath. There was not even a telephone in the room to contact reception. We reported these issues and requested assistance, but no meaningful action was taken during our stay. The breakfast experience was particularly disappointing. There were flies around the dining area and food, and birds frequently attempted to snatch food from guests while they were eating. This made the breakfast experience uncomfortable and raised concerns regarding hygiene and overall dining management. Another inconvenience was the lack of room service, which made things particularly difficult when travelling with children. We were also surprised to find monkeys regularly on the roofs of the cottages. While some guests may consider this part of the natural environment, it was concerning at times and added to the feeling that the property was not being properly managed. What disappointed us most was not just the condition of the facilities, but the lack of response when issues were reported. The resort appears old, poorly maintained, and far below the standard suggested by its ratings and online reviews.

Very good location, surrounded by nature, a lot of plants and animals. Very clean and children friendly beach.

Food, cleaning, and maintenance to be improved.

The location is excellent and view and beach accessibility is amazing. The staff was friendly, everything was great. the room was clean, the food was fresh.

We stayed in the beach suite and the drain in our shower did not work and there would be a pool of shower water waiting to drain every time we took a shower. i even raised it with the staff but nothing was done. The jacuzzi/ bath tub did not work properly so we couldn't use it. the complimentary water bottles that were to be given every day, were not provided after the first day.
