Atika Retreat

We were in the main house and it felt like having the place to ourselves.

It was cold and the air in the rooms didn't work

loved the room. very nice amenities.

The property was way more than we expected. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin which feels like a complete home. It has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1/2 bathroom, long dining table for 8, living area, and wifi. The place does need maintenance work, but we were informed when we checked in that the placed was abandoned by previous owners and its slowly being brought back to life by new owners. Beds are clean, towels are clean, place is visibly clean, but it does need deep cleaning. I found a broom and swept the floor and there was tons of dirt on the floor and it wasn’t by us. It is summer and bugs are expected, but there was ants everywhere (counters, tables, floors). Food could not be left on the counter due to the amounts of ants. The property is huge! It has its private seating area outside with a fire pit. It’s heavily dusted but beautiful. THe view is amazing! It’s surrounded by grape vines as tall as the house. The property does come with a shared pool to the individual units that are also rented. There is a large shareable fit pit too and grill area. The place is charming and can’t wait for its full renovation.

We loved the two bedroom home. We will be coming back again.

Location was good, near a lot of wineries and restaurants. Room was very clean.

We were never greeted by anyone, in the check in instructions, nor did we receive a key to our room. We called the number provided, to find out our room number and were directed walk in however there was no room key and we had to leave our stuff in an unlocked room for the entire stay. We were told someone would bring us a key but no one ever came. Vegetation on the grounds was beautiful but could have used more maintenance on the pathways, we were having to move some overgrown branches to get to our room. Jacuzzi had jets but no way of heating the water. Extra towels weren’t provided either for the pool. Has potential to be a great place to stay at with a little more upkeep and some hospitality.

The size

Broke glass in pool , ceiling leaking from rain . Most furniture was dusty and had Cobb webs . Advertised fire pit in photos did not work . Landscape was not maintained and poorly kept . Blinds in rooms did not work . Various lights outside and in him did not work. Called number to check in and no one call me back until I found keys in door . Would not return .

It was nicely secluded.

It needed to be maintained and cleaned. Pest control needed to be called for ants.
