Close to National park, lovely gardens. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Gas fireplace not vented so if you use it you get the smell of gas. Strong floral detergent smell on sheets and towels. A little weird that they have a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations when we were there on Easter.

Breakfast was a fantastic start to the day, and very tasty. Love the fresh local fruit and enjoyed talking with the other guests.

Close to our main attraction, Kilauea on the Big Island, Hawaii, and very fairly priced, including a full home cooked breakfast.

While this was a private area in the lower section of an older home, and not in the owners main living area, we felt that somewhat constrained by the need to be very quiet and mindful of the owners feeling and connections with the property.

Breakfast was terrific, the room was cosy and had a great shower. Jody was a wonderful and welcoming host, the epitome of Aloha. I highly recommend this great BnB if staying for any length of time in the Volcano Village neighbourhood (located in Mauna Loa Estates, south of the Hawaii Belt Road).

It was a wonderful stay and enjoyed good conversation
