Da história encantada em que nos embrulhamos assim que lá entramos, junto com a simpatia do sr Tiago e da sua esposa. E principalmente por me ter feito recuar a um passado muito feliz em casa dos meus avós em toda a decoração tão pormenorizada do hotel, e de ter mergulhado em tantas e boas memórias de uma infância já longínqua. Continuem a crescer ainda mais, será certamente um lugar para voltar vezes sem conta, senti amor, sintam-se amados por nós também. Muito obrigado 5⭐️ Ana & Bruno

O Tiago foi muito atencioso connosco .. sempre prestável ele e a sua mulher.. tinhamos um carro eléctrico. Prontificou logo em ter.uma tomada para carregar o carro. Mil estrelas . Parabéns!!

Tiago is a great host, takes a lot of time to take care of us. A pleasure.

We were welcomed with a family-like vibe. The Management was very eager for us to have a great time offering immediate contact options in case we get lost or need anything. We had an amazing view over the Duoro river from our room and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding: Portuguese Sweet Croissants, Ham, Cheese, Sweets, Fruits Yoghurt... you name it! They told us that they recently bought additional property to extend a pool area and officially become 5 stars. We think they already are: The Mansion thrones over terraces above the river with very well behaving little animals further down (e.g. Sheep, Chicken, there's an old dog living his best life)... On the other side is the village center. As a bonus we were specifically welcomed as LGBTQ+ friendly. Thanks for a great and quiet stay! We'd recommend the Hotel for anybody coming to the region. We were told the first king of Portugal also enjoyed it, we sure did!

It was all great, really. The region has little transport options, so come by car or maybe ask the staff very politely if they can arrange a pickup for you!

La casa es muy bonita y perfecta ubicación porque está alta y tiene buenas vistas y a la vez estas 5 min de una playa fluvial con muuucho encanto. Personal amable y desayuno muy completo.

Me sorprendió que no hagan la habitación cada día. Nos quedamos dos noches. No tanto el cambio de toallas, q lo entiendo sino arreglar y hacer la cama. Lucía un sistema airbnb y no lo es. Desayuno el Embutido es de calidad tirando a bajita. Y lo que es un coñazo es que tienes que avisar caaada vez que sales y entras y entras y sales y eso resta autonomía. No hay acceso libre ni a la asa ni al portón para entrar en coche, debes avisar por WhatsApp siempre y claro, es muy poco práctico.

What an amazing stay. Thiago and his wife who mange the hotel could not have been nicer people! We would recommend this quite, picturesque castle in the hills to anyone who is looking to experience a piece of Portugal

Old stylish villa with amazing view over Douro valley, the staff was very nice and very thoughtful.

The hotel staff are excellent, kind and always ready to help. The hotel also has 3 dogs and my daughter had the time of her life playing with them 😍 100% recommend it for families with kids.
