Hipango Point

The is a beautiful property with panoramic views over the city and river. Everything you could want is provided and it is close to the centre. I would definitely stay again.

The views. The beds. The deck for coffee in the morning. Apartment had almost everything needed.

Apologies, I forgot to contact the owner to say the toilet seat was loose on arrival so it could be tightened. This is not a criticism but an update of facilities.

Thoroughly enjoyed the unit, the view never got old, a never ending postcard. We experienced some beautiful sunsets the location gave us and the advantage point of viewing the surrounding lush green countryside and the ability to watch the river activities and town below from a lovely balcony. The unit was close and well positioned to everything, with the town only a short walk away to restaurants, pubs, river walks, museum, Art Gallery with a fitness challenge of the Durie Hill stairs on the walk back [to work off the extra kilo's gained from the restaurants and pubs :-) ]. Also the added bonus of visiting the Durie Hill Memorial Towers on our doorstep.The unit had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It was clean, tidy, comfortable lounge set-up, lovely kitchware, lovely decor, the advantage of a washer /dryer which came in very handy, and a great bathroom to enjoy a nice hot shower at the end of the day. It made our holiday having such a unique glorious place to chill and enjoy in. Thank you for the opportunity 🙏

Nothing that I didn't like. Just on the next visit, as there will be a next time, would be nice to see some little TLC maintenance done, i.e. refelting pool table, the woods (balcony decking, feature/retaining walls) reoiled/stained to bring out the full glorious character of the place.

I think you need a step from the garage to the house that is the only thing I would add

Stunning view across the river to the town. Superb decking area. Everything clean and comfortable. The Saturday market, the Regional Museum and the Bason Botanic Garden are great.

To walk into town requires tackling a daunting 160 steps down and, then, back up. There is a brilliant elevator which emerges just behind Hipango Terrace, although it closes at 6 pm.

Große schöne Wohnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr cool, außerordentliche Terrasse mit Vie, Zudem mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten. 2 Schlafzimmer, beide groß, Bad sehr groß. Alles vorhanden auch Waschmaschine etc. Michael war sehr nett und hilfsbereit!

Parksituation für eher tiefliegende Autos schwierig, aber auf der Straße ist immer was

This modern style property is conveniently placed to make the most of the Durie Hill elevator and the steps. Then just short walk across the bridge to the Saturday Riverside market and cafes etc. We were able to have our Labrador stay with us which was wonderful. The views and landscaped garden are lovely, and we were able to open up the sliding doors to enjoy it. It’s a comfortable modern build which makes the most of its location, with art, homely touches and everything you might need.

There is some nighttime noise (cars and a pub) that comes up the hill, to be expected on a weekend. The thick glass blocks a lot and we didn’t find it a problem. The drive is a little steep so may be a little challenging for big vehicles or inexperienced drivers, but there’s room to park on the street.
