Excellent location right on the water close to cafes ferries and shopping. The apartment was expansive and beautiful and very clean. The host made everything so easy.

Nothing to dislike

Everything was great. It's a beautifully appointed apartment that feels like a home, in a very central location. The views of the lake from the lovely balconies were breathtaking.

Only small issue was the two flights of stairs but we could securely leave our buggy / stroller downstairs each night so the only time it really impacted us was on arrival and departure bringing bags up and down the stairs. It's a beautiful old building and you could not install a lift.

The perfect location - to sit and view the lake with a Negroni on the balcony, to explore Como’s historic centre and to relax in comfort. Highly recommended

Amazing location, very vibrant area with lots of buzz and restaurants however apartment was very quiet with very good soundproofing. Very elegant apartment, very comfortable with a view that you couldn’t beat. We loved in the evening sitting on the balcony enjoying the activity and the view of the lake

The location is simply wonderful. The photos of the apartment are accurate and the place was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable, although the master bed was a little hard for my taste. Bed linen and towels were very good quality. WiFi was excellent. The shower was also very good. Our host was excellent - he came to meet us to show us around; he quickly sorted a minor problem which occurred. There is a "little" grocery store just a couple of minutes' walk away and it's very well stocked indeed. A little further away (c.270m) is a Carrefour express - good but very crowded! There are restaurants below and to both sides of the apartment but don't be put off - the sound proofing is amazing so with windows closed there was absolute peace and with windows open there we enjoyed all the happy noises outside. There are air conditioning units in the living room and the two bedrooms but we didn't use them. If you intend to take a ferry anywhere, my advice is book before you come - the queues were horrendous and we were so glad we'd booked!

The position and views were unbelievable. The host was very helpful with great restaurant tips. He was also helpful in getting us a van for the trip to the station
