The owner is the best! Abofaisal is amazing! He is super attentive and will go above and beyond to ensure that you will have the most pleasant stay at his place. The apartment is super clean and modern, the rooms are very spacious, towels and toiletries are provided, and each room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, and water kettle. The apartment is in a good location. We had our own car and there is plenty of parking available right next to the house. There is also a 24/7 minimart right next to the house and some eateries close by. All attractions in Alula were easily reachable with our own car, Alula Old Town is approx. a 15 minutes drive. If you don't have your own car, Abofaisal can help you to organize transportation and book tours to all the tourist attractions. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would certainly stay there again next time we are visiting Alula!

There is nothing to not like about this place. If anything, it would be that there is only one bathroom (for the 3 room apartment) but this was clearly stated, we knew in advance and could manage, even with 5 people.

Great host and room and location. Very spacious and comfortable. He gave us amazing oranges from Alula. Gave a lot of Alula tourism advice.

There was a strong smell in the bathroom. The owner addressed it with some scent which didn't seem to work. I think there is some problem with the piping which needs to be rectified.

My two-night stay at Friday Suites in Al-Ula was fantastic, largely thanks to the exceptional hospitality of our host, Abofasil. He went out of his way to ensure our comfort, even taking us to local restaurants and guiding us through the wonders of Al-Ula. Abofasil's kindness and dedication made our stay truly memorable. Five stars without a doubt!

This hotel is nicely located with supermarket and the breakfast place very close by. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. He spent a lot of time introducing to us the good places to go. And he’s very friendly. This is not a very big tongue so everything is within 20 minutes drive.

The bathroom needs a little bit more renovation because the water doesn’t go down the drain

I chose this place because of it's good reviews, and it lived up to expectations. The owner was super helpful and replied quickly to my WhatsApp messages. He organised a tour guide and official tours for me, arranged for the guide to pick me up from the bus (you can get to AlUla from Al Madinah by Newbus) and showed me how everything in the apartment worked. I was glad the rooms had heating as AlUla was cold. He kindly gave me loads of oranges too. He and the guide speak good English so make it easy to be there if you don't speak Arabic. The accommodation is beside a small supermarket where you can buy drinks, fruit and veg, snacks, canned goods, dair products, etc. It's also walking distance to a few casual local food places, a pizza takeaway (Richy) and a Jordanian cafe, Osturi, which had good food.

Wifi is fine for mobile phone use but wasn't strong enough for me to use my laptop. Buy a SIM card if you have essential work you need to do. As other reviews mention, water accumulates in the shower tray. I'm not sure why they don't make the floors here tilt towards the drainage point. Instead, they tilt the wrong way.

The owner of Friday Suites, AboFaisal was the gem of our trip, he assisted us & made our Al Aula vacation easy & spontaneous, upon arrival after we freshen up he came & discuss to us, the most important sites to visit for the number of days we have, He also assisted in booking our Hegra tour (w/ the same price) before arrival,(otherwise we might not have joined the tour),as it was always fully booked. He also directed us to where we can have delicious & affortable, good restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner. He welcomed us with fresh fruits & dates. He even gave us boxes of fresh oranges before check out. The suite we took was 3 bedrooms complete w/ ref,microwave, kettle w/ coffee/sugar. Bathroom w/ toothbrushes/toothpaste,shampoo/soap, toilet tissues. Huge comfotable kingsize bed w/ newly wash linnens, towels & comfotable pillows, the place is new & clean. It is a safe haven for tourist,looking for a comfortable & affordable place to stay in Al Aula.
