Friday Suites

We stayed for 2 nights in this great accommodation. The flat is huge with 2 large bedrooms and a great bathroom. Our host Abu-Faisal gave us a very warm welcome, even in the middle of the night. We were allowed to ask him everything and he provided us with very important information and tips, e.g. about restaurants, excursion destinations and logistical details. He also drove us in his own 4x4 car to distant points in the desert at a very fair price. Thanks to his tips, we had a really great time there and saw even more than we had planned. You really don't get a service like this very often. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation.

I can’t say enough about the outstanding service and hospitality we received from Abofasil at Friday Suites AlUla. From the moment we booked our trip, Abofasil was responsive and assisted us with everything we needed to know about the property and the area of AlUla. The accommodation is just as pictured, modern, spacious and clean which made us feel right at home. Abofasil was our guide during our time in AlUla where he perfectly suited to our needs and also introduced us to experiences we would never have discovered on our own. Every step of the way, Abofasil was there for us—whether it was answering our numerous questions, making last-minute adjustments, or providing useful tips about AlUla. The level of care and responsiveness was beyond what we expected. Even small touches, like recommending the best local restaurants and securing bookings for tours, made our trip feel that much more personalised. Location

The room was immaculate! This was a beautiful room, very clean and we stayed nice and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was also quite comfortable with the mattress being medium firm and soft pillows. Our host was great to us and always answered any texts we sent. He is very responsive and has suggestions for tours and car rentals as well! Great and affordable player to stay in Al-Ula! I will submit the sign at the entrance to look for from the street.

Both rooms and living room are spacious. Adequate parking space next to the property. There was a restaurant, a grocery store, a cafe and a couple of laundry shops nearby.

Bathroom looked like it needed a clean and you might want to bring your own bathroom slippers. Drain at the shower area didn't drain properly so water quickly spilled over onto the entire bathroom floor and you'll have to use a floor squeegee to push water towards the floor drain. The microwave in one of the rooms hadn't been cleaned and had food residue in it. We found a larvae/bug/insect in one of the beds. Hair dryer didn't work and they didn't have a replacement. Caretaker helped us with our bags when we arrived, however when we messaged him for help to carry our bags before checking out, he only replied 12 hours later (he apologised but said he was not available).

Decent value for money and host is helpful (e.g., booked Hegra tour for me)

Lock on my door broke during stay and I was locked out of room for ~2 hours until the host could repair it. Also their cash only policy is unnecessarily burdensome considering we are well into the 21st century

The owner, Mr Abofasil is an extremely friendly and lovely host catering to all the needs of his guests. He gave us very clear and accurate information and even recommended some local restaurants and helped us plan an itinerary for the duration of our stay.
