Madilao Hotel

Located outside of town which we lived as it was peaceful after the hubbub of LP. Hotel offers shuttle into town a few times a day and we always got it back in the evening. Nice pool. Great staff.

AC was very noisy - glad I had earplugs. We had an issue with out toilet which we hoped would be fixed while we were out all day but wasn’t. However they did sort it quickly once we raised the issue again

Very nice room with balcony and view over the pool - which itself is very lovely. Staff are great, breakfast is wonderful. Nice terrace on which to eat it. There is an on-site restaurant which nobody seems to use but the food was great. Everything very clean.

It's a bit out of the town and although they offer six free taxi rides into town it can be a bit limiting and expensive. The a/c in my room didn't really work

Hotel Review – 3 Nights at Madilao Hotel I stayed at Madilao Hotel for three nights and would like to share my experience in a fair and balanced way. First, the positive aspects: Overall, the hotel was very clean and well organized. The fitness room was well equipped and maintained, providing a good environment for workouts. The breakfast offered very good value for money and was above average in both quality and selection. The staff members were consistently friendly and polite.

However, many of them were frequently on their phones. With a bit more attentiveness and presence in the guest areas, the service experience could be further improved. Unfortunately, there were also significant drawbacks. The room had a strong smell of feces, clearly coming from the bathroom. Although everything appeared clean and tidy, this odor persisted throughout the stay and significantly affected the overall comfort. The swimming pool had cloudy, milky-looking water, which did not create confidence regarding water quality and maintenance. The bicycles included in the price are a nice idea in principle, but they were in poor condition. Many of them had barely functioning brakes, loose handlebars, and no lights. It required some luck to find one that was reasonably safe to use. In summary, the hotel has potential. Cleanliness, the gym facilities, breakfast quality, and the friendliness of the staff are definite strengths. However, the issues mentioned above — especially the odor in the room and the condition of the bicycles — should be addressed urgently to ensure a more comfortable experience for future guests.

This was the best staying I had this vacation, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean and fresh room, all the facilities, free shuttle t/r to night market, great pool including pool-towels. Thank you!

Lovely small low rise hotel. Rooms round pool or beautiful garden. Breakfast was good but could have done with a few more European options.

Location was very close to the town nut had to do a 20 min trip by shuttle bus to get into town. Times between shuttle bus were too long. Every 2 hours instead of 4 would be better.
