La Corticella

It was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and shower had nice water pressure. It was mice having a large outdoor courtyard.

This was by far the best apartment we stayed at in Italy. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. We only wish we had been able to take advantage more of the courtyard.

Heat is not included.

Location was fantastic, the apartment was stunning so comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had plenty of living space and an amazing outdoor area not often available when staying inside the walls. Luciano was a perfect host, the apartment was available for us even though we arrived early. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend this appartement. The owner is a flexible, kind man, who was accessible and willing to make our stay even more delightful. Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, a king-sized bathroom and an endearing patio made a huge impression on me! Fit for a queen! The location is also great - walking distance both from the railway station and the centre of Lucca. All the basics provided - kitchen utensils, a coffee maker, drier, dishwasher etc. Clean, lovely and spacious!

La Corticella is a beautifully appointed apartment, conveniently located within the Lucca city walls. It is close to the railway station, but also within walking distance to all the major attractions in Lucca. The apartment is spacious and 2 bathrooms is a definite bonus. The decor is light and airy and the kitchen was well equipped. The attention to detail was superb. A bottle of wine and tea/coffee ingredients greeted us upon arrival. It was great value for money.

On arrival we were advised by owner of a charge for gas heating. No indication that such a charge was applicable on Booking.com site. We were charged 140 euros for heating for a 6 night stay. Excessive in our view. Prospective renters should contact the owner before booking to determine whether a charge for heating or air conditioning is applicable. Booking .com should reference this issue in their details about the property.
