An sich ist die Art und Weise wie es aufgebaut ist eine gute Idee nur leider total in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer Schimmel wo man nur hin sieht, die Toilette war nicht geputzt (Toilette war noch schmutziger wir haben nur 1x die Spülung betätigt um zu sehen ob es Dreck ist der weg geht oder nicht). Klimaanlage bläst einen genau auf den Kopf beim Schlafen. Preis-Leistung passt hier leider nicht überein

Interesting group of weird little houses makes up this Homestay. We stayed in the tent and the concept was cute, private bathroom was an open shower room. Breakfast was buffet with Asian and western options. Lots of coffee and water included. We came at the end of breakfast hours and the buffet was pretty picked over (the Homestay was quite busy) but still we had plenty to choose from. A/c worked very well.

Without adequate ventilation after showers, the entire bathroom was wet until we checked out (not damp, but really wet) the following day. Nothing here to rave about but nothing terribly wrong either!

Dong Van is one of the main stops on the Ha Giang Loop but if you want the option to walk into town after a short 15 minutes, but still avoid the thousands of 20 year old tourist, Plum Homestay is a great option. The entire facility is very quirky in a very positive way, with small bungalows that are very modern but still adorable with great views as well. It’s much more modern than most homestays in Ha Giang, so it was definitely a comfortable sleep.

It’s not really a Homestay, but more of a hotel so don’t expect to eat with a local tribal family like other places in Ha Giang, and the food is not quite as good as other places we stayed at in Northern Vietnam, but it was still adequate.
