Plum Hillside Lodge

Well kept, lovely bungalow. With the heating on it was nice and warm. Shower was good. Round bed a bit tiered to sleep in. Dinner was great and good value.

Breakfast wasn’t the best, but that’s probably because I chose toast. It was served with margarine (yuk) and shitty ultra processed ham. Coffee was Vietnamese style, not to my taste.

We slept like little roses in this bed. Really nice stay!

Retaurant was half outside and a little cold during winter period

The accommodation is good, and the household items are quite good actually.

You have to run uphill to reach the location, and the location is quite far from the downtown area (you can’t walk)

We stayed at this charming little hotel for one night, and it was such a lovely experience! The view from the bar was absolutely amazing, looking directly out at the majestic mountains—it was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery. The cabins were a real standout, beautifully done up with fairy lights that gave them a magical, almost fairytale-like vibe. It felt so cozy and enchanting, especially at night. The location was great too—just a 5-minute walk to the centre of town, making it super convenient while still feeling peaceful and remote. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless with the most comfortable bed—one of the best we’ve slept on during our travels. Breakfast was also a treat, with delicious food to start the day right. The shower uses an electric hot water system, which is common in this part of the world due to its remote location. It takes a little while to warm up, so just be prepared for that. Overall, it was such a clean, peaceful, and unique place to stay. We’d happily visit again!

Facilities were very good staff helpful

Cool accommodation, clean and good quiet location. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time.

The heating wasn’t really working which made it pretty cold in the “tents”. I was thankful I brought my hot water bottle otherwise I probably would have asked to move to a more insulated room. I’m sure it would be lovely when it’s not so cold but it made hard to be comfortable while it felt so cold
