Ideal for Adam's Peak hikers, this spot provides a convenient base to start or end your adventure. The host greets you with warmth, adding a personal touch to your stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering a nice place to rest up before or relax after your hike.

It was a bit hard to find this place since it's hidden away, but once we got there, it was all good. The shared bathrooms were okay but got busy at times. There is an option to have your bathroom if you will.

The host is amazing, very friendly and helpful. He runs the restaurant and shop in front of the property, so very convenient. The best location for Adams Peak, the closest accommodation to the start of the trail.

A fan might be nice if the hotter months - but Dalhousie isn’t too

The home stay was just at the start of the trail which is really great when you have to get up at 2 in order to make sunrise in time. The host was nice and helpful. Comfortable and large beds was a big plus. We had tea when we arrived and our stay went smoothly.

Our room was both noisy and smelly.

Very basic place but a great location right at the start of Adams peak. And very cheap price. Okay for one night. Mosquito nets are provided and you get bread dhal and jam for breakfast which is included in the price. They have WiFi but no one knows the password for it.

There were three local men outside my room all night making lots of noise and moving furniture about late at night which was not ideal when I wanted to wake up early for the hike. They were all stood around staring when I went to use the shared bathroom outside and they made me feel really uncomfortable.

You get what you pay for, especially in Dalhousie this is quite a fair price compared to the rest of the accomodation on offer. The room was very clean and the bed quite comfy. It's right on the road to Adam's peak, so you get out and are ready to climb :)

The dinner was quite expensive for what we got: a rice and curry, with a lot of rice and very little curry for around 900 RP per person. It's worth noting that everything was crazy expensive in all shops and restaurants around there, but since it was our accomodation I would have expected a fairer treatment. The breakfast was fine, but they served it to us ''hidden'' in a corridor behind the room, while they have a shop with tables outside...why? The worst was anyway the noise around until very late, maybe 12 or 1am.. considering that you have only a few hours to sleep before starting climbing, it's not ideal.

Very good value for money, we had it for very cheap so perfect considering that we won't be sleeping much in it as we did the hike during the night. Owner is nice and the food is good plus it's at the very start of the hike.

As it is very close to the start, it can be pretty noisy. You may wanna have earplugs

Amazing place in the best location for Adam's Peak. Got a big room with en suite with really hot water. Free tea on arrival (comes with sugar so let them know if you want without!). Staff are nice.

I liked everything. I went on a weekend poya day so I was afraid the peak would be too busy at 2am for sunrise so I went at 11am and I had an amazing experience with no queues at the top. Consider this if you are not too bothered about the sunrise.

The host was very friendly. Also there is a restaurant next to the Hostel which belongs to him. You can get excellent rice and curry there. Besides, the location is perfect as it is just right at the start of the Adams peak trek.

Very simple but yet absolutely sufficient accommodation. Super friendly owner and great food! Prime location at the beginning of the trail. Would definitely recommend!
