Famiglia molto ospitale che si assicura sempre che non ti manchi niente. Il posto è bellissimo immerso nella natura raggiungibile con tuk tuk da Willpattu junction. Bella la veranda sulle risaie, camera semplice ma funzionale e con zanzariera sul letto, mentre c'è umidità nel bagno ma abbastanza frequente in Sri Lanka. Ci siamo affidati a loro per organizzare il safari e per quanto riguarda il loro servizio la colazione e il pranzo che ci hanno preparato era buono e abbondante. Solo da tenere presente che loro forniscono un autista per il safari e non una guida quindi se si vuole approfondire un po' di più o avere qualcuno esperto che ti porta nei luoghi più adatti meglio rivolgersi a altri organizzatori perché con il nostro autista non abbiamo comunicato molto e ha concluso l'escursione prima. Per il resto super consigliati!

Prachtige plek, geweldig lieve gastvrouw

Very nice view on the rice fields from the terrace, good for relaxing or a short walk. Many birds. Warm welcome with a drink. Clean room, big and good bed with klamboe. Good food (be aware there are no restaurants or shops nearby), served at the time you like in front of your room, including water. Beer available. Friendly family who arranged the safari day for us (with a very nice and extensive lunch!) as well as a taxi to our next destination. We were lucky to see a lepard! Take mosquito repellent.

Be aware that most of the family speaks very little English, also the safari driver didnt speak much English (it would be nice to get more explaination on the park and wildlife). And the daysafari means that you travel in the same area more than once (but still recimmended to do the day instead of half day as you have more chance to spot an animal and more quiet moments)! Some moisture problems on the roof in the bathroom, which smells a bit already. It might be improved by opening the window however it should be with a mosquitonet.

We couldn’t stay longer because we had a flight back home to our country

Het eten bij de homestay was vrij duur in vergelijking met wat je kreeg.

Famille très accueillante et sympathique surtout le jeune fils qui parle très bien l'anglais et est très serviable. Jus de fruits et thé nous ont été offerts. Ils ont organisé un safari et nous n'avons pas été déçus nous avons vu de nombreux oiseaux, deux ours ainsi que de nombreux autres animaux sauvages. Nous avons même aperçu un léopard un peu caché dans les herbes. Le chauffeur était expérimenté et nous laissait le temps de prendre des photos. Le fils de la GH nous a accompagné nous servant de guide. Il est charmant.Diner correct et bon à un prix plus que convenable.

De locatie is geweldig. Dichtbij het park en je hebt vrij uitzicht op de rijstvelden. De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijk. Je kunt via hun ook een excursie naar het park regelen.

Helaas hebben ze in de douche geen warm water. En het zou fijn zijn als er iets meer stopcontacten zijn in de kamer.
