GBEverything about this place is awesome! The view from our bungalow was so nice. We saw an eagle resting and bee eaters etc from sitting outside the room on the outdoor patio. The rooms had aircon and a mosquito net, private bathroom and all your basic needs. We had a wonderful time staying 3 nights - we did one full day safari, one half day safari and a night safari - we were able to see a leopard, sloth bear, deer, loads of different birds, reptiles (crocodiles and lizards), amphibians, primates (langurs and macaques) and an elephant bathing on the day time safari’s and the night time safari we were able to see fishing cats, civets, Indian crested porcupine, jackal, mouse deer and an elephant. The home stay organised all the safari’s for us and couldn’t have been better and more welcoming. The food was all organised by the home stay, lovely Sri Lankan meals - made to order, very yummy and a cheap price. Breakfast was included in the hotel price, same with water, coffee and tea. We are vegetarian so the home stay was able to accomodate our needs. They really were such lovely, kind people and Wilpattu was one of the best safari’s we’ve been on and I think Kurumba Lodge made it all easy and possible for us. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s located really close to the Wilpattu national park as well! We will definitely stay here again, if we are ever lucky enough to visit Wilpattu again. The whole family were amazing. The also organised a car for us from Wilpattu to Sigiriya. Such a great experience and such a wonderful place. Side note - the address on booking.com isn’t correct - just type the lodge into google maps using the name and it’ll send you to the right place.

ESModesto lugar ubicado en un lugar tranquilo, llevado por una familia encantadora que hace lo posible para que te sientas cómodo. No tiene agua caliente, es algo a tener en cuenta.

NLDe hosts waren erg vriendelijk, het eten was heerlijk!
De wifi was niet altijd even goed.De badkamer was niet op en top. Er was alleen koud water.

DESchöne Unterkunft in der Nähe des Nationalparks! Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und das Dinner war sehr lecker! Wichtig zu wissen, es gibt kein WLAN und wir hatten auch schlechtes Netz, was aber für uns kein Problem war und auch in der Beschreibung klar drinnen steht. Die Duschen sind eher lauwarm bis kalt. Aber das ist OK!
DESuper freundliche Gastgeberfamilie, die sich um alles kümmert. Hervorragend organisierte Ganztagessafari mit Verpflegung und engagiertem Fahrer. Mit Abstand die besten Roti und das beste Dhal Curry, das wir in Sri Lanka gegessen haben. Moskitonetz am Bett. Ruhige Lage mit entspannter Atmosphäre auf der Veranda, idealer Startpunkt für einen Ausflug in den Wilpattu Nationalpark.

Comunicació regular; tot i haver concretat fer el safari a través d’ells, en arribar no ho tenien en compte. Tot i així, ho van gestionar però no ens vam entendre amb l’hora i finalment ens van trucar la porta i vam haver de llevar-nos i vestir-nos en 2 minuts.
