Wait time for our meals were far long but must say when our dinner arrived they were absolutely delicious 😋 and more than expected so had to take what we didn't eat back to our room in a takeaway package. Thank you to all involved from our check in our meals to check out. 🤗🧡

It requires some renovation, but is clean and affordable.
AUThe location was very good and close to Gore Bay and Domett. It is the typical country hotel with down to earth people. The re is a lot of history in the area and worth a good look around. The food was excellent and you won't go hunger with the portion sizes.
Just a short journey north of Christchurch and situation along the roadside, but the guest room are set back and are quiet. It's a good area to explore the original estate of William Robertson that was subdivided by the NZ government to open up the area to farming.
NZNZNZThis was an overnight break in my journey and the Cheviot hotel is situated conveniently with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable night.
