AUWe really liked how helpful and friendly the staff were. The lady doing the cleaning was very kind and friendly and we also appreciated the chef who helped us locate an iron (even though we discovered later that there was one in the room already! Our bad!)

NZIncredibly well equipped single room, considering such good value. Spotless. Easy to access, central location. Big dining room ..food obv. popular with locals. Lovely dining room and kitchen staff. Warm sunny room with big opening windows. Fan and heater supplied. Very comfortable and secure stay.
Initial greeting and check in by bar staff a little 'cool' ( maybe it was not her job) . I also had to return to ask for WIFI password. I did arrive a little earlier than they had expected.
NZHard to contact staff via phone or email, I walked around restaurant and bar for 15 minutes before I found a staff member. Had to get a refund as room was absolutely not what I needed. Because they don’t answer phone or reply to email early enough .
NZRoom had everything I needed. Tv to watch in bed and an ensuite
Fridge made weird, loud almost orchestral noises all night. Not the normal hum. Took me til morning to figure out it was actually the fridge. Got constantly woken up by it
