Hotel Firststay Myeongdong

Good location for exploring Seoul, and very attentive and helpful staff. I didn’t catch the names of everyone that helped us, but Dustin was amongst a few that were very kind and helped us with recommendations.

Minor points: The beds were very hard. I appreciate that this is a preference point, but we found these were exceptionally hard. The 4pm check in time felt quite late to wait for, with no option to check in early. Again we felt the full impact of this personally as our flight arrived into Seoul at 4am.

Dustin has been really helpful, friendly and nice. He helped me a lot during my stay here.

Het was schoon, super fijn personeel die erg lief en behulpzaam waren. De locatie was fantastisch! Beter dan dat had ik het niet kunnen wensen. Het hotel heeft ook een lounge op het dak, echt super fijn! De faciliteiten waren gewoon goed.

Het bed was niet het beste maar ook niet heel slecht en het was een kleine kamer met een klein raampje maar de rest van de accomodatie maakt dat goed! Ik zou er nog een keer boeken!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay. Location is in perfect spot. Very close to everything. Justin was really accomodating and has an excellent customer service. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were here for an extended period of time and interacted with many of the staff. All of the staff members were incredibly kind and very quick & responsive to all of our needs. They helped us find a restaurant of a particular dish we were wanting to eat, book a taxi, quickly resolved any accommodation issues, and answered any questions about Seoul that we had during our stay. Thank you to Dustin, Jerry, Yuna, Jinha, Nuri, and Onyu!! All of you made the stay so enjoyable, and I have to say that it was the best treatment I have ever received from staff in all my travels! As far as the hotel itself, the location was absolutely perfect for all of our needs. We primarily used the subway which had a station only a 5 minute walk away. Because it's in a central location, it's very easy to navigate to any part of Seoul. There were also bus stops that were literally right outside of the hotel too. The hotel is located by so many restaurants, so it was very convenient to find a variety of meals. The room and bathroom itself was very clean, and the roof lounge was a really nice added bonus. We also did laundry which was a nice feature to have due to our long stay. I thought that it was a great value, and I plan to stay here during future travels as well! Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

This was a phenomenal stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Firststay Myeongdong. The location was excellent- right off both a main bus stop and the subway. There's a convenience store a stone's throw away and multiple restaurants in the area. Furthermore, the staff were so accommodating and kind, especially Nuri. I would absolutely, 100% make this reservation again when I return to Seoul. She gave us many awesome recommendations and was so patient.
