Couscous Glamping Manazuru - Ocean View BBQ Stay near Hakone

Our glamping tent was situated at the top of the property…beautiful views! Tent was clean, spacious, warm. We opted for the dinner & breakfast to be included, which made our visit extra special. The staff brought all of our food up to our tent, then we cooked it on our BBQ! So much food…skewers of venison, lamb, veggies. Fish baked in foil, salads, bread, dips…beautiful. Breakfast the next morning was just as good-delicious. So glad we decided to stay here, our family loved it…a unique experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to complain about

It was a very quiet and calming location with a view of the water. The facilities were stylish. You can order food from your tent and it feels very posh. The food was so yummy!

It would have been nice if there were a hiking trail!

Pretty location

The bathroom is a bit far if you're in the far away tent. It was raining at night and it was a hassle if you need to go to the bathroom

I had one of the best birthdays of my adult life here! I stopped writing reviews but it would be a disservice not to rate this glampsite. The tent was spacious and high, the toilets were clean, the food was divine, and the customer service おもてなし was impeccable. I was exhausted from work, stressed, jaded by city life, eating poorly and sleeping badly. I am so grateful to unwind in such a gorgeous location surrounded by nature and kindness. I recommend bringing crocks or sturdy slip-on outdoor shoes, especially for the toilet. I also suggest bringing earplugs if you wake easily to bird noise. I also recommend the venison stew, the cassis orange, and the apple pie. To the company, I know hot water is provided in a thermos but I would definitely rent a mini kettle if you had one available. All in all, a fantastic experience especially after two awful group camping trips. ありがとうございました！

Nothing, but I should have brought thicker pyjamas and crocs. Hot water is provided in a thermos once a day for tea, but I would have rented a kettle if there was one available.
