Ukulhas Sands

The hotel is located in a quiet alley in the middle of the island, with convenient access to all parts of the island. The room is decorated in a fresh style, which feels great in hot weather. The room is neat and clean, and the facilities are also very new. It is cleaned daily. We also prepared hangers. For guests from China, there is no need to use a power adapter to charge in the room. Our communication with the hotel owner Saeed was very smooth. He was able to understand our needs in a timely manner and provide appropriate suggestions. He also added WeChat for timely communication. There are 5 breakfast packages to choose from, which are delicious and have local specialties. We have booked a travel activity with the hotel owner. We booked a bit late that day, and many ships had already departed. He still tried his best to make good arrangements for us. I highly praise our sea captain, who is very kind and professional. After going out to sea, he tried his best to meet our needs and also ensured safety very well. We had a great snorkeling experience and caught a lot of fish under the starry sky at night. The next day, we also saw the Manta freely wandering back and forth. There are also life jackets and other equipment on the first floor for us to snorkel. The Basilico restaurant nearby also has a good taste. Ukulhas is a very good island with beautiful white sand beaches, good snorkeling, and not far from Male. Thank you to Saeed and his staff for giving us a great experience. We hope to stay longer next time.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. You get towels for the beach and they clean the room for you. The staff was helpful and friendly so we have nothing to complain about.

We stayed at a small, cozy hotel in the Maldives, and everything was absolutely perfect! This is a place where they truly care about every guest. The breakfasts were amazing. There were 5 different options to choose from, and each one was unique and delicious. I highly recommend trying all 5! Our room was compact, around 20-30 square meters, but so thoughtfully designed and comfortable that it felt perfect. The cleanliness was outstanding, with daily housekeeping. Fresh water, tea, and coffee were replenished every day, which was a lovely and convenient touch. A special highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. A huge thank you to the manager, Saeed, who was incredibly kind and supportive. He answered all our questions, helped organize our transfer, and ensured that everything was taken care of for a comfortable stay. Another great bonus was the complimentary snorkeling gear, including masks and fins, which made exploring the underwater world so much easier and more enjoyable. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised us by organizing a lovely birthday celebration during our stay, which was such a thoughtful and wonderful gesture. This hotel is the perfect choice for anyone looking for coziness, comfort, and excellent service. Our stay was a 10 out of 10, and we can’t wait to come back again!

The room was beautifully designed and impeccably maintained (clean with pristine white sheets and bath towels). The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and varied. The staff were lovely hosts.

I had the most wonderful experience of staying at Ukulhas Sands for three weeks. My room was always super clean and nice. The hotel team - Saeed, Ali and Saeed’s sister - were exceptionally caring and attentive and made my stay in Ukulhas so much more special.. WiFi worked perfectly well, including for Zoom calls. The hotel is also located very close to the beach, nice restaurants and a coffee shop. Highly recommended!

When I was looking at reviews for other rooms/hotels in Ukulhas, I noticed that many of them had started to offer poor services over time. Initially, they did much better, but their ratings had dropped. I couldn't decide where to stay in Ukulhas because most ratings were poor. Then, I found Ukulhas Sands, which I hadn't noticed at first due to the lack of reviews. However, I saw that the hotel was new and had excellent ratings, so I decided to stay there, and I was not disappointed. The communication was good from start to finish. I got fast responses over WhatsApp. The hotel is new and equipped with air conditioning, TV, fridge, and hot water. The island itself is small, so everything is close by, and you don't need to worry about the location. My advice is to stay at Ukulhas Sands. From my point of view, it is currently the best option available in Ukulhas.
