"Fantastisch hotel op leuke locatie"

De ligging van het hotel, de onsen op de bovenste verdieping en de service. Zeer authentiek gegeten, zowel ‘s avonds (private dining) als ‘s morgens aan de lage tafels. Ze leggen wel uit wat het allemaal is, maar dat vergeet je door de hoeveelheid ook weer. Prachtige, grote kamer, stijlvol ingericht met licht hout en bankje en verrassing op de kamer na aankomst. Attent. De onsen op de bovenste verdieping is ook prachtig. Je kijkt buiten uit op het meer en veel verzorgingsproducten aanwezig. Je wordt naar je kamer gebracht. Omdat we langer zijn en wat steviger dan de gemiddelde Japanse persoon, werden voor ons grotere kimono’s gehaald. Alles netjes in een speciaal tasje. Vlakbij is een fietsverhuur, waar we een fiets gehuurd hebben en het meer rond zijn gegaan. Nog net wat meegekregen van de bloesem. Ook op loopafstand is de kabelbaan met uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Bushalte naar station en andere kant op naar Kobe om de hoek. Je kan ook heerlijk op een bankje langs het meer gaan zitten en genieten van het uitzicht en de fietsboten (zwanen) en de pendel boot.

Voor de koffie en thee moest je betalen. Als je al zo’n prijs hebt neergelegd, vind ik dat je dit gratis moet aanbieden. Het was niet duur, maar gaat dan om het principe.

"Loved the real japanese ryokan"

The property had a warm and authentic Japanese atmosphere. The food was excellent, the onsen was relaxing, and the staff were very welcoming. It was a memorable and enjoyable ryokan experience.

Unseren Aufenthalt im Kasuitei Ooya haben wir in jeder Hinsicht geniessen können. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr aufmerksam sowie hilfsbereit. Das japanische Essen war mit viel Liebe zubereitet und es hat uns eine besondere Erfahrung ermöglicht.

Meine Frau hat eine Massage sehr gut erlebt. Bei der zuletzt beanspruchten Massage war feststellbar das die Masseurin am Ende ihres Arbeitstages müde war, sie war in der Begegnung recht kühl und sachlich - ganz entgegen dem, was wir sonst erlebt habern.
