No me gustó el sitio; no es que esté muy apartado, pero tampoco céntrico. Unas ventanas que no cerraban del todo bien mucho ruido, y algunos mosquitos. Por unos 3-4 €, seguramente hay mejores opciones.

INI had a very good stay at Songtam Hotel. The room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. What really stood out was the bedding. The bed had a super comfortable mattress, perfect pillows, and silk soft cotton linen. After one month of travelling in Malaysia, this was the highest quality bedding I have found so far. It made a real difference to the quality of my rest. A solid choice for a short stay in Ipoh.
There are a few things to be aware of, although not necessarily negatives. There is no lobby and no lift, but I understand it is an old building. At the ground floor there is a popular restaurant that serves excellent food. The hotel counter is inside the restaurant, and the staff send a WhatsApp message on arrival to stay in touch for anything needed. Their working hours follow the restaurant schedule from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm, but outside these hours they still reply promptly by WhatsApp and were very accommodating with my requests. The only thing I really missed was a mirror in the room. I had to use the one in the bathroom, which has very little space for skincare products or makeup, so I kept going back and forth from the large desk. It is a small inconvenience but worth mentioning.
