The wonderful welcome and hospitality of Nicole and Tomas, the consummate hosts. The modern, Western as opposed to Japanese vibe. The cleanliness and newness of everything. The efficiency of the entire set-up including staff.

The location but let's face it you get what you pay for and we knew getting to the lifts and Hirafu would entail walking to the shuttle bus stops, so can't really blame the property.
