GREENVIEW HOMESTAY KOVALAM

House itself is nice, with a top floor open, but the room I booked was amazing. It was so beautiful and well designed, that it woukd be possible just to stay inside and not to go anywhere. But the nature outside is great and worth to see. Hosts are an indian couple, they are nice persons. Any need was met immediately. I totally recommend this stay and myself will come again.

Excellent Homestay with homely food and experience. The owners are extremely helpful and polite with very good property. Very well maintained. Breakfast is very local and amazing.

It was a very pleasant experience. The care takers were very humble, supportive and understanding. Homely atmosphere. Home cooked authentic Kerala style breakfast. All necessary amenities are available in the rooms. Just 1 km from beach. Anytime access without any hinderance. The whole owner (Sushma aunty) was extremely generous and took good care.

You have to walk a few metres to get to the main road. Like 3-400 metres. But they provide you with access to rickshaws on call.

Have to be honest, the night crickets where a little noisy for me

The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and we totally relished it. The building is brand new and well built and maintained. There is plenty of light and ventilation, so one doesn't feel the heat at all. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Location is little inside, and auto on call are not very reliable. Its better to take a two wheeler on rent in case one has to eat out. Bathroom is a little congested and the ceiling of the rooms a little low.

Clean, comfortable, and very welcoming even when I arrived late. The "budget" room was perfectly set up, and really lovely to stay in. The beach is a short walk away, and there's also great restaurants nearby. I felt like I was a part of their family and community for a few days, and had such a great time here. I was spoilt with all the delicious home cooked breakfasts!

If you are looking for a budget friendly, clean , well maintained homestay, I would recommend this. The place is very neat and hygienic. The hosts were really helpful. They are warm and their hospitality was very nice. It is worth every penny. You also get complimentary breakfast which is very yum. The place is approx 1 km from the beach. I would give it a 10/10. It is safe place to stay for female solo travellers.
