Large rooms with most amenities included. Dinner was okay. A good stop off point on drive towards Mombasa.

Ants and bugs all throughout the room! The pool was closed the whole time.

Staff were very attentive, but not in your face all the time. Place was clean and food was excellent.

I would recommend a small play area for kids. WIFI was only in the public areas and non in the room. Management said they would work on it.

Great hotel, very nice pool, and a super great garden. In the garden I could watch monkeys, which impressed me as a European. Good food, very rich (sometimes too much of a good thing) Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff The location of the hotel is quiet. The rooms are with balcony and very big, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also big (which I love) I visited the hotel again on my return trip. The value for money is really good It is really highly recommended

The gardens of Hunter's Lodge are awesome: So many monkeys running around, climbing in the trees, goliath herons close to the pond, a beautifully designed pool area, a spacious room and bathroom, a comfy bed. The staff is very friendly, the food good, English cooked breakfast...Very good value for money.
