We loved the location, the cleanliness, and the price. We thought there was a hidden cost or it was too good to be true, but it was just as it said. The owners were very responsive and were very courteous as we let them know we were arriving late so they close the curtains and put the heaters on for us so the apartment would be nice,cozy and warm. We felt safe and my teens loved space to relax after our long days out. Thank you very much to Paul and his wife for making our stay nice and cozy. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone going to Whakatane or Ohope areas

Was close to everything we needed.

No living area, very small but was good for what we needed

Everything was great, love the views and privacy

Nothing it was top notch

Centrally located between Ohope and Whakatāne is a bonus

Clean, good location

No blinds on back windows and door, and lack of privacy on front bedroom windows (no nets and could see in). Dogs barking constantly in the private quarters when we arrived which prevented us being able to rest after a long drive and we ended up having to go out to get away from the noise, but after that initial occasion we had no other problems with them.

I liked the fact that everything was provided and I could get on with the purpose of my stay which was be the photographer at my friends wedding. A hassle free stay

It was quite good.
