Lyndale Oasis

Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen and living room were spacious and tidy. Was a great place for the price

Not a bad thing but the outside is deceiving (much nicer inside). Noise travelled a little through walls.

The price was relatively cheap compared to most other hotels and lodging options. There was a direct bus line just a few blocks away to Downtown Minneapolis, which made daily travel fairly easy.

The room was small and the common areas were not very well-maintained or set up for the house rules. For example, there was a message for you to dry yourself inside the shower before stepping out, yet there were no towel racks within arm's reach of the shower. There was some sort of liquid spillage or leak in my room (see photos). The television remote stopped working after the first use. The refrigerator was filthy (see photo), and the floors were definitely not cleaned daily, contrary to the owner's claim. The neighborhood around the house (Lyndale and Lake Street) was a bit sketchy.

Quiet, well maintained, and easy to access the city.
