"Won’t be staying there again."

Our room had a smell and it was unpleasant. The beds were supposed to be queen but I’m sure they were full.

"Very nice overall"

Breakfast was good and the room was very nice. The only problem was the elevator did not work and got one bed instead of 2 bc it was easier to accommodate my mother.

Worst hotel experience we’ve ever had and it actually affected our health. First of all, I booked this hotel 20–30 days in advance through Booking.com because we had a planned event in Houston. But when we arrived, the front desk person took over 30 minutes just to figure out our reservation. He kept saying the hotel was fully booked and that their system doesn’t connect with Booking.com. After going back and forth for a while, he finally gave us a room but that wasn’t the end of the issues. I had booked a King Deluxe and a Queen Deluxe, but the King room looked nothing like the pictures. The Queen Deluxe was somewhat accurate, but I paid more for the King, and the quality was just awful. Both rooms had dim lights, a strong bad odor, visible water damage on the ceiling, and we even saw tiny roaches in the bathroom and kitchen area. Also the elevator was not working. We tried to tolerate it for the low price, but the second night turned into a complete nightmare. When we came back late from the event on Saturday night, we noticed there were fleas all over our suitcase and even some on the bed. We had already started feeling itchy, and by the time we checked our legs, they were full of bug bites. I immediately called the front desk and asked to switch rooms, but she told us they were full. We begged her to help because of the itching and rash, and she said she would bring bug spray. We waited over an hour, kept calling, and finally she picked up and told us she couldn’t find the spray. After more back and forth, around 4am, the front desk lady finally showed up with bug spray and sprayed the room. By then, we were completely exhausted, itchy, and unable to sleep. We felt helpless and disgusted, and just wanted the night to end.
