Maui Homestay

El primer dia estuvimos en una habitación donde no había agua caliente, la cisterna perdia agua y los utensilios de cocina estaban un pelin sucios. Fue contactar con los propietarios y se preocuparon desde el minuto 1 de arreglar todo aquello, cambiarnos de habitación y asegurarse que nuestra estancia fuera lo mas acogedora posible. Las habitaciones son amplias y están limpias. Tan satisfechos nos quedamos, que alargamos 1 día mas.

Water heater and bidet were not working. Water supply gets cut off from time to time

הכיור היה מלוכלך מאוד עד שביקשנו שינקו לנו אותו, היה בעיה עם המים החמים וקשה לתפוס טוקטוק מהמיקום הזה

They are on a main cemented road, no issues with flooding. We were greeted by the host and he was very friendly. We also chatted with the staff and she was very friendly also. We arrived a little early for checkin from checking out of another accomodation. We intended to leave our bags first but the room was ready so we were able to set them inside before leaving for the day. The room was clean, AC worked great, and beds were comfy. There is a small shared kitchenette on the ground floor.

At night the ground floor area can be quite dark if the outdoor lights by the rooms are not on. Not a huge issue. The bathroom drain had a smell but other than that it was ok, hot shower worked fantastically.

Cleaner was friendly.

No back up power generator meant we spent most of our stay with no running water, electricity, A/C etc.
