I booked a room with two double beds and accidentally listed one adult on Booking and the price for two adults is the same and the owner of the place argued and charged more money and threatened to throw us and our bags out if we didn't pay. An unpleasant experience at all.

The location is great—very close to tourist attractions, which made it convenient to explore.

The area outside was quite dark at night due to poor lighting. It's not the fault of Maui Homestay; the barangay should consider installing street lights.

The owners are very responsive and gave all helpful information. Big space inside the property to park motorcycle/scooter/bike. Great location, very close to the main part of town where all the restaurants, cafes, and shops are. Close to general luna beach, car and motorbike rentals, and stores to buy necessities.

The water pressure in the shower is a bit low so it took longer to shower. There's a small gap between the door and the wall when you close it, so would be great if this can be fixed.

Location: I like that it’s close to Tourism Road and most stores where we buy our essentials. There’s a store in front where you could buy most of your necessities and it’s just a few minutes drive going to General Luna Port- where most people went to go island hopping or go breakfast (Whitebeard) and it’s a few minutes walk to the a bank (BDO) and gas station (Petron). It’s close to where you could rent scooters or vehicles (Bridgestone) or even travel tours (AJ Tours). Host: The hosts are very hospitable and receptive. I enjoyed our small talks and they made sure we’re comfortable while we stayed in Siargao. I also love their housekeeper, she always makes sure our room is clean every day and she’s fun to talked with. Room: The room is wide and could easily fit 4 pax. It also has a small kitchen counter with heater and private toilet which has hot showers also. Both their beds are queen size too. Bonus, it also has good wifi too 😊 Common space: Downstairs you’ll find a shared kitchen so you could cook and you could park your scooters after using. Price: It’s definitely worth it especially if you’d be traveling by group.

So far, NONE. I don’t have problems during our 6 days of staying at their place. And I could simply asked them via chat for inquiries.

Loved it! very accommodating and experienced no hassle in check in and out.

Big clean rooms, excellent location, daily house keeping if needed, laundry service available, quick response when communicating with homestay host. There generally is no one on the premises other than the house cleaner for a few hours but this wasn’t a problem as the host responded immediately on the booking message board and addressed any of my needs/questions professionally. Super happy with my stay thank you . Oh! And comfy beds!
