Hotel Pelikan

Location and the staff were nice. Comfy bed and hot shower, so all good.

I'd recommend both the hotel and restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I stopped on a bikepacking trip and no problem to store my bike. The hot water and high water pressure of the shower were truly a gift!! I had trout at the restaurant it was really fresh and flavorful. highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly, in particular, the waiter in the restaurant who advised us well to have our breakfast before we drove to Podgorica airport, assuring us that it is only a 20 minutes drive away and we have sufficient time.The dinner was fabulous especially the chicken soup and the grilled mushrooms.

The AC in both rooms did not work. We let the hotel staff know and they went and checked and said it's working but when we went back to the room the AC did turn on but there was no air coming from the AC. Also there should have been some mosquito repellant device provided in the rooms as we had to keep the windows open as the AC wasn't working. There was a shower gel dispenser in the shower area but it was empty. .

This hotel was located right near Lake Skadar, in walking distance. The restaurant served great food & was reasonably priced. The room was simple, but I was expecting that. I was able to arrange a pick-up from the airport. This was perfect for enjoying nature and getting away from busy tourist areas.

I wish I'd known ahead of arriving that the hotel offers boat rides on Lake Skadar. I'd already booked a trip by the time someone spoke with me about it. The trip back to the airport was difficult by train. I was advised to walk along a route off the main road, and it was a difficult walk with my luggage which I carried a lot of the way due to the rocky terrain. A taxi or shuttle to the station or airport would have been better.

Manager pushed us to book a boat tour at a high price as soon as we had arrived and had not settled. Seemed he's trying to get as much money out of you as possible. Location is a bit noisy as at start of road that turns off of main road so has many cars.

The staff was very friendly, they did their best to welcome us and helped to organize a trip on the lake. Breakfast was fine.

At the entrance of the (very small) village, we were surrounded by people organizing a trip on the lake: one of them was our host, proposing quite a high price. It was a place intended to rip off tourists. Also, we had to wait 15 minutes to pay with a credit card instead of cash (not a problem of this structure only, but of whole Montenegro)
