The Evergreen

It was right off the interstate and close to higher end shopping. Felt very safe and modern. The check in was a touch weird, arrived to the front office at 6pm and it was empty. No signage out instructions for checking in. I called the main hotel number and woman just says hello? Not very friendly…told her I had a reservation and she hangs up and pops out of a side door 2 mins later. Guess she lives on site? Hmmm.

There were only 5 cars in the entire lot but we were all next to each other. Walls were very thin. Could hear neighbors toilet flushing during the night. Also there was a sliding barn door to the bathroom. It didn’t give much privacy. No bathroom fan…could be awkward if we weren’t a long time married couple. Also pillows were not comfortable. But that could be a personal preference. Was nice to have a Nespresso in our room and furnishings were modern.

The bathroom is chilly d/t sliding door lets air in.

Recently remodeled. The rooms are huge, very decent stay for a motel.

The showers could have been cleaned better.
