Maimara Hotel

the hotel was extremely clean the beds were of high quality. And the staff and management, wow, it was a big family and very sweet. I have a lot of respect for the people. I will definitely go back to them. The father of the hotel makes delicious pizzas. My compliments!!! Mano Kalpoe

I really have no negative points. Or points for improvement. And if I had something to complain about, it is negated by the love of the staff and dedication in their work to make the guests feel at home Mano Kalpoe

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The facilities were excellent, but what stood out the most was the incredible hospitality of the host's family. They made me feel right at home and were always ready to assist with anything I needed. Highly recommended!

Loved our time here. While the location is outside of the centre of Huaraz, we actually liked this as you don’t have all the noise and commotion of the centre. Close to the Movilbus terminal - so handy if you use them as connections! The local motorbike taxis are an easy way to get around to restaurants, etc. The owners were so kind and extremely helpful - with thanks to Jamie he made sure we had activities planned each day with his connections. The breakfast on the top floor was always a great way to start the day - love that view!! Rooms were always clean & comfortable with everything you might need.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maimara. The room was clean and spacious. Jamie was a very attentive and helpful host, he gave us a lot of great recommendations. Fantastic views from the breakfast room!

Beautyfully decorated hotel in a quit street in Huaraz. The city center is a 20 minute walk. The breakfastroom offers a stunning view at the mountains. The room was clean, spacious and comfortabele. The hot shower and bath were a treat after a long hike. In the evening we dronk local beers near the fireplace.

Nothing

The breakfast was great, with fruit, eggs, toast amongst other options on the top floor with a wonderful view of the mountains. The hosts were excellent, very helpful with lots of contacts to help me with my trekking and mountaineering plans. The location is on a quiet street within about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Huaraz.

It was a little frustrating at times not to have a key to the front door, though the hosts were quick to respond to let me in or out.
