Hakuna Matata

The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the center. It was a pleasure to meet the hosts, they are kind and hospitable people. the hostel is always clean, there is Wi-Fi and a place to work. Everything was great, this is my best trip

First of all, a great price! And the owners live just 2 minutes away. This is a family owned hostel - Mr. Lazar, his wife Anita, and their two sons, Kire and Venko. And I can not forget their beloved dog Petra that they rescued from the streets and raised as their child for about 8 years. 😁 They are a very nice family. Mainly, the father, Mr. Lazar runs the hostel. He made me feel so welcomed. He invited me to eat with his friends in the hostel living room. And even took me and his good friend to a great local diner and we talked about how the hostel could be improved. We all laughed a lot. It might not look like it, but the location is fantastic! On a main street, it is so close to everything within walking distance. Grocery store just downstairs. Dose Café is 2 min walk. Bus to airport is 4 Euros and nearby as well. Guests' reviews complained about the living room having bunk beds there as well. Actually, I preferred sleeping out there. It was so spacious, convenient, and a great view of the main street. I stayed about 21 days or more. I loved it!

I didn't like that I had to leave and move on with my traveling the world. Truly an unexpected heartwarming experience.

The hostel is basically a shared apartment, with some shared rooms, a shared kitchen and a living room which accommodates around six people too. Simple, but effective for a small stay in Skopje, especially in the low season, when there are less people.

This wasn't a problem for me in particular, but they don't take payments in card, only cash.

The hostel was very spacious and the facilities were good

One of the bathrooms could have been cleaner.
