Vintage Vista

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay here. The property is a beautifully preserved traditional Kerala tharavadu, offering an authentic and calming experience away from the city. The room was very spacious with a polished wooden ceiling, old-style windows, and well-maintained interiors. Thoughtful details like water storage with a jug, a charging stand, and even a traditional stone in the bathroom reflected the care taken to preserve both comfort and heritage. Having access to the kitchen and dining area was a highlight. We could prepare our own kattan (black tea) and enjoy meals comfortably, which made the stay feel more like a home than a hotel. The surroundings are serene, with Bharathappuzha (Nila) just a short walk away. Walking through the riverbed and relaxing in a hammock under mango and coconut trees made the experience truly special. The stay offers great value considering the space, amenities, and overall atmosphere, including a spacious courtyard and homely setup. Overall, highly recommended for a peaceful, nature-connected stay with traditional Kerala charm.

The property is in a quiet residential village near Lakkidi/Thiruvilwamala. The approach road is slightly narrow and patchy, and the area feels quite calm and somewhat isolated, though there are houses nearby.
