"Exceptional stay in middle of greenery with top notch private service."

Family run hotel with exceptional one to one caring service and big size rooms decorated with a fine taste of exotic style. Breakfast comes with abundance of fresh, healthy and tasty. It’s so fun to sit in the terrace and watch chipmunks and peacocks wandering around in the big beautiful garden.

Whole place is simply beautiful <3 Perfect design, great location (many attractions available just with tuk tuk), personel extremely helpful, place full of good spirit. High quality as it comes to food served in Roots Retreat, with special care for children.

There is nothing we could complain at.

Amazing space full of nature, modern yet with a great taste of Sri Lanka’s traditional design, great local cuisine with a fun healthy twist, perfect space for outdoor activities and sport classes provided by the lovely owners - much recommended! Plus there is a lovely (and very calm) golden retriever!

There is so much love put into this villa!! The owners are so genuine and deeply care about the people they host. The garden is stunning and the fitness space is so beautiful and very well equipped with all the best! The rooms are very clean and well maintained throughout your stay. And the food is exceptional! You must get a massage as well, their guy is the best.

No bad things or even constructive criticism, it is a perfect place !
