Zoi apartment

A very nice room, with all the amenities. The host provided coffee capsules, sachets of instant coffee and sweets. The water pressure, temperature and cleanliness in the room were excellent. The bed was soft and comfortable. The views from the balcony were stunning. The location was ideal; as Kotor isn’t a very big town, everything was within walking distance. We arrived in the city by bus; it’s about a 15–20-minute walk from the bus station. There was a bit of confusion finding the way to the apartments, but I think the problem was simply that, as tourists, we weren’t used to the layout of the streets and the city. Overall, it’s not at all difficult to find. The landlady was extremely helpful and kind; she offered us soup for lunch, as we arrived during the holidays and just before the weekend (grocery shops are closed at weekends). But we declined, as we didn’t want to cause her any inconvenience. I highly recommend these apartments; I will definitely consider them as a place to stay on my next trip. There were also no issues with the tourist tax. The hostess sorted out all the paperwork for us online, and on the very same day. Somewhere towards the evening, we received a receipt for the tax payment. We didn’t need to hand over our passports; a photo of the document was sufficient. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos inside the apartment, as everything looks exactly as shown on the apartment’s webpage. There’s just one photo of the view from the balcony and the nearest pier. I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to Zoja for a wonderful stay and the excellent care she showed her guests. It was a real pleasure to spend my holiday with such lovely people in such a beautiful flat. I would have loved to have had a longer chat with you and perhaps shared a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, but we had a packed holiday schedule, so we didn’t really get a chance to talk properly.

I wasn’t particularly keen on the interior design style itself, but that’s a matter of taste rather than a fault. The flat is still have interior to a high standard. So please don’t take this as a serious criticism. There is a slight issue with the strong air freshener in the bathroom, but personally it didn’t bother me. I reckon if you’re sensitive to smells, it might be a bit of an inconvenience for you. But I think the smell of air freshener is better than the smell of a toilet or damp (I’ve stayed in flats with those problems, so I’d rather have air freshener than the smell of damp).

The apartment was very nice! The location is very close to the Old Town. There is a parking space available if you are traveling by car. And last but not least, the host is very kind!

Данная хозяйка одна из немногих, кто искусственно занижает стоимость апартаментов в поисковой выдаче, вынося значительную стоимость уборки апартаментов в графу "налоги и сборы", хотя живёт хозяйка в соседней квартире и, вероятно, уборкой будет заниматься самостоятельно. К квартире ведёт очень крутая винтовая лестница, что неудобно, особенно если вы с тяжёлым чемоданом. Дверь апартаментов закрывалась маленьким ключом, вот только то ли что-то не так с замком, то ли с ключом, но каждый раз при манипуляциях с замком приходилось возиться по минуте в поисках положения ключа, при котором дверь откроется или закроется. Сам ключ маленький и без брелка, легко его потерять. Экскурсии или приветственной речи (как это обычно бывает) об апартаментах не было, просто забрали оплату и все... Люди в отзывах уже жаловались на WiFi, но, очевидно, хозяйка не намерена решать проблему, потому что в нашем случае WiFi был все так же плох. Скорость интернета была черепашья, видео с YouTube грузились только плохого качества. Но даже этот плохой WiFi периодически и без предупреждения просто пропадал... Когда я написал хозяйке об этом, она ответила, что это проблема провайдера, и она ничего сделать не может. Хотя в момент пропажи сети продолжала быть активной сеть с почти таким же названием, которой, вероятно, пользуется сама хозяйка. По стенам ползали небольшие насекомые, в том числе пауки, которые здорово пугали мою девушку. Душевая кабинка была очень тесной, а в самой ванной комнате стоял затхлый запах. Полотенца в ванной были очень тонкими и плохо впитывали влагу. В целом у меня сложилось полное впечатление, что хозяйка намеренно экономит на жильцах, воспринимая все это чисто как коммерческий проект, с соответствующим отношением к делу. Все, что я написал выше, для кого-то может показаться мелочами, но в совокупности эти мелочи, по моему мнению, демонстрируют истинное отношение хозяйки к своим гостям

Tüm ihtiyaçlar mevcuttu, ev konforunda bir tatil geçirdik. Ev sahibimiz bizim için ikram olarak meyve ve şekerlemeler hazırlamıştı. Fazladan yatak örtüleri gibi her detay düşünülmüştü. Yatak odasında projeksiyon cihazı olması da oldukça konforluydu.

The apartment is made with great love and attention to detail. There’s even a projector opposite the bed with Netflix — we’ve never seen that before on booking! And on top of that, there’s also a huge TV in the living room. Very close to the apartment there’s a wonderful hiking trail along the fortress, offering stunning views of the Bay of Kotor and the whole Boka Bay — truly breathtaking. The place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, yet it’s only about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town. Everything was spotless and cozy, the mattress was very comfortable, and all the appliances were modern and high-quality. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were very kind and helpful with everything. We were pleasantly surprised to find mineral water and juice waiting for us in the fridge, and some sweets on the table. The hosts even thought of mosquito repellents — such a nice and thoughtful touch! My husband said it was his best vacation ever. We definitely recommend this place!

It’s a pity that the view from the apartment is just a wall — but you can’t have everything at once. Also, for people who are sensitive to smells: for me, there was a bit too much air freshener or conditioner scent in the apartment, and some other unusual smell I couldn’t quite identify. My husband didn’t notice it at all, so it’s really just for very sensitive noses.

Nikola was a very welcoming and friendly host, he had some great tips for me upon arrival, from tour/tourist advice to the simple heads up that the following day the supermarkets were closed so I should do my groceries that day instead. His bakery recommendation was also spot on :) The room also had a great selection of complimentary snacks and drinks which was very much appreciated. Location was excellent, in a safe area and the view was incredible!

Everything was great, the accommodation had everything I needed as a solo traveller.
