Gangnam Suncity Guesthouse

Probably the best stay I have ever booked while staying in Korea for 2 weeks. The lady was kind, informative and very promptly responded to every request and messages, I could not have found a better place. Thank you so much for everything, I will remember all the good memories I had there.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Clean, comfortable, and really friendly service.

The property is well maintained and the owner is very respectful and super nice! Her English is good as well and she is willling to help with anything you need. I like that the room has a mini fridge, private bathroom and hot water boiler. Any dishes I need to borrow I can go to the shared kitchen. For laundry, you will just need to pay the owner and she will do it for you. This is a good place to stay if you need something affordable, is a single traveler and traveling for medical purposes (surgeries, etc). I will definitely come stay again for sure!

Just a small note - There are rules posted in the kitchen to maintain respect for other clients who stay in the other rooms by keeping noise down after 10pm. but some clients don’t always follow that and that is not the property’s fault at all! Just wish that other clients can be respectful as well

It was in a fantastic location and it had an elevator ! The communication with the host was great too

Sunny has been super attentive, responsive and thoughtful during my past 2 stays at Suncity. I highly recommend if you're staying around Gangnam/Sinsa!

The mattress was comfortable, but the cover under the sheet was not breathable so I woke up sweating. Wifi, microwave and fridge available.

I arrived to see the building wrapped in scaffolding and a strong stench of sewer. Throughout my stay the toilet spit up smelly water at odd times and I didn't want to use it or shower there because of it. There is zero soundproofing so you can hear everything on the same and different floors. Electricity flickered when the next room used a hairdryer and she screamed. Creepy. Half an hour before check-out a woman entered the room when I didn't answer the door BECAUSE I WAS IN THE BATHROOM. Do not stay here. Stay anywhere else.

Best place in Seoul to stay if you want excellent value for money as well as hygiene ( see photo for example of clean bathroom ) and a great location. Super clean and extremely convenient. SINA station ( line 3) is 1 min from the property and the owner is caring and polite. She is welcoming and caring while she is professional and keeps the place spotless. I can’t even find this level of hygiene in 6 star hotels !!!

I can’t find anything - I tried to find to give balance but just couldn’t. Others have commented on noise from the fridge or pipes but I heard NO noise at all.
