I like the fact that it’s out of the city, which offers beautiful sunset views and mountain vibes, not too far from several hiking/viewpoints.

I’m very surprised that no one has mentioned how NOISY it can be both during the day and night, a few other guests also felt the same when we were chatting. The hostel is located right next to the main dirt road, you can hear all kinds of vehicles honking and loud engine sound. I could hear them even though my room is located on the 3rd floor and facing the mountains. Think twice if you are a light sleeper. If you’ve tried to order food here and don’t like it like I did, I highly recommend a place nearby just across the street called Lao Valhalla, very nice host and nice homemade food.

This place beautiful , quiet they had fresh breakfast staffs welcoming. but you need to walk 15-20 minutes from town.

We stayed there for total 3 nights book with booking 1 night and extend other 2 night. Good breakfast, very nice and helpful staffs , clean rooms with . good experience for our holiday at Vangvieng .

We really enjoyed our stay, views from our room at the top were amazing and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice and there was a social atmosphere amongst other guests. We also liked the location on the edge of the city as you have all the countryside views but just a 20 minute walk into town.

The owner/manager isn't around much so you have to communicate on WhatsApp to sort anything out. Not all the doors/windows lock properly. The stairs are pretty steep to the top rooms (in case you have a lot of bags)

Like a lot of places in Laos, the shower is a bit weak and drains awkwardly past the toilet to the drain hole.

The two Vietnamese ladies who run this place are so wonderful, especially the younger woman who does most of the communication with guests. The views are exceptional, and it is a great location away from the busy town and closer to the lagoons and hikes. They have scooter rental available but they had run out so they organised another scooter to be dropped to us at the accomodation. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anybody.

The drainage in the bathroom is not great and after showering the floor remains soaked for quite awhile.

The drainage and relative position of the toilet and shower could be improved. More hooks for hanging up clothes and towels in the bathroom would help. The coffee was instant and could be improved on.

Vivian is such a hard worker and so friendly! She made us feel welcome and very comfortable! The view was amazing as well! We would definitely stay here again!
