The staff was very supportive.

Staff were so kind and cooked breakfast fresh to order every morning. The location is a bit outside of the main town area but surrounded by the mountains and the sunrise and sunset views from the hotel are incredible!!! Town is about a 20 minute walk.

We chose this guesthouse for its location and the views. Whether for sunrise or sunset, the views are amazing! If that’s what you relish, you’ll be very happy here. Location is a short walk or ride out of Vangvieng town. Surrounded by looming limestone karsts, we watched the balloons sweep across the sky and dip behind mountaintops. A good breakfast is served daily and we enjoyed watching the buffalo and cows milling about before being released for the day, whilst eating. Stars of this establishment have to be the two delightful ladies who make breakfast, organise transfers, tours, do laundry etc. They’re onsite, helpful and super friendly. Would return to DD Guesthouse again.

The bathroom layout was a little odd (toilet in the middle of a large room) and the plumbing could be improved on, but a hot shower with good pressure was still possible. Our room (and most of the other rooms) had two large picture windows. These are great for views and natural sunlight, but as they look out onto the corridors, it does mean that privacy is only possible when the curtains are drawn. Bright lights are switched on at dusk and left on overnight. Locating the switches and switching some off improved matters. Light switches aren’t marked, so it’s trial and error.

I enjoyed the room with stunning view on rice field and mountain , breakfast included , motorbike rental service they also help us book hot air balloon with French company cheaper than book direct with company .Great spot just 15-20 minutes walk to get away from party town. Nice and friendly family business Ms Vy was helpful . I will definitely stay here again.

Comfy bed, hot water, very nice starting point to explore things in the nature, you can also rent a bike from them, friendly stuff, breakfast included. The views from the guesthouse to the mountains, very nice location. Also good wifi.

Two things. 1. The light on the terrace is very bright and even though there are curtains in the room, it doesn't make it dark at night. 2. If you are going from the city center, Google maps shows you can cross the bridge by car/tuk tuk. You can't. It's either on a bike or by foot. You can get to the property by car but you gotta use the bridge outside of city center. So if you come by train in the evening, please consider it

This place is all about the view. from the top of the building it's possible to walk around and see a 360 degree view of the mountains. You can watch the sun rise, sunset and all of the balloons and paramotors in the sky.

The construction of the place is quite dangerous., particularly the stairs. It is unsuitable for children and anyone with mobility issues. The stairs to the rooms are incredibly steep, and so an accident is likely.

DD Guesthouse is truly remarkable, not only because of its location and stunning views but especially because of the people who run it. alway welcoming, making you feel like staying at home . The location is perfect everything you need is just a short distance away They also help us rent scooter and book bus to vientiane all pick up at guesthouse . Highly recommend this place to anyone stay at Vangvieng!
