Beautiful home and we love the town

It was not clean at all. Outside area hasn’t been swept in for ever. Spiderwebs everywhere. All the cutlery and glasses and dishes we used were dirty and I had to try clean it without sunlight as nothing was left for us. Still had people from before’s food in bread bin. Someone’s shower sponge was left in the shower which is gross. Swimming pool that was advertised as a highlight was extremely dirty and dstv was not working due to non payment of the account. Hosts said the would fix it never came on

A Memorable Stay at Oude Pastorie's Cottage I wholeheartedly believe that Albert deserves the title of Superhost of the Year. If it were possible to give this cottage a rating of 10 out of 5, I would not hesitate to do so. From the moment we arrived, Albert was incredibly responsive, addressing any questions or needs we had almost immediately. The location of the cottage is nothing short of perfect. Nestled within the expansive gardens of the Oude Pastorie, it offers both beauty and seclusion. With a serene dam-like pool, it’s an ideal spot for relaxed summer days. Furthermore, the cottage boasts its own private entrance, surrounded by walls, ensuring complete privacy. The interior design of the cottage is stunning, showcasing a perfect blend of style and comfort. It is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring excellent linens and towels, as well as the most comfortable and spacious bed we've ever encountered. The verandah is equipped with an electric braai, perfect for outdoor cooking, while the cozy fireplace inside adds a touch of warmth and ambiance. One of the highlights of this establishment is that it is dog-friendly, making it a fantastic choice for pet owners. I can not recommend this cottage highly enough; it truly exceeded our expectations. Due to its popularity in Nieuw Bethesta, I advise you to book in advance to secure your stay in this beautiful cottage. It is truly a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience!

This stay was just perfect

Simply beautiful and very comfortable. The fireplace was great to have for those cold nights. Our dachshund also had a great time with a very spacious garden.

The was a minor electrical glitch.

Albert must for sure be voted superhost of the year, and if I could have given this cottage a 10 out of 5 rating, I would've. This host immediately answers his phone with anything you need. The location of the cottage is perfect. The cottage is situated in the big gardens of the Oude Pastorie, but completely secluded. In the garden is a dam like pool for lazy summer days. The cottage has its own entrance and walls around the cottage. The cottage is decorated in a stunning way. Well equipped. Excellent linen and towels and the most comfortable and huge bed we've ever encountered. On the verandah is an electric braai, and on the inside, a cozy fireplace. This establishment is dog friendly. Highly recommended. Make sure to book in advance as this cottage is for sure very popular and very popular in Nieuw Bethesta.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Absolutely perfect. Great communication from host, perfectly located, super comfy beds. Shared bathroom can be a little tricky if not with family; barn doors don’t give complete privacy . Will definitely book again and for longer! Thank you again for an awesome stay
