"Paradise!"

Total paradise! Waking up and going for a morning swim in the ocean, having breakfast on the beach, taking a bicycle around the island, dinner by the bonfire: it really is a magical place. The location is excellent, very close to the centre of town without being loud or too busy. The food is good and absolutely worth enjoying a lunch/dinner there just for the joy of eating on the beach in absolute comfort. I LOVED the furnishings - beach lounge chairs of all kinds, hammocks, big suspended beds, wooden chairs. And the family has some adorable dogs wandering around the property so it really feels very homey and comfortable. All the staff are excellent, especially the guest manager who was so kind and very accommodating and efficient.

The lobster in the pasta was very chewy, but aside from this dish, the rest of the food was very good. The octopus carpaccio for example was delicious! They also charged us quite a bit for breaking a glass, which I understand but thought unnecessary considering the price of the rooms. Still Hotel Mawimbi was absolutely 10/10, would stay again!

Beautiful hotel very cozy , good service, food , rooms and bathroom very comfortable and clean. ocean front a few blocks to the town . excellent . Owners and team very nice taking care of all you need in your visit.

Breakfast was stellar. Staff was always available, friendly and helpful. Loved the welcome cocktail. Room was very comfortable and clean

Not the resorts fault per se but could have done a better job keeping their beach clear of the stinky sea grass buildup

The room is spacious, clean, comfortable. The facility is quite nice; private beach, very delicious restaurant, also breakfast and cocktails were top. The location was good, close to center restaurants and also easy to walk other part of the beach. The stuff is very kind.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Best scenery in Isla Holbox and magical dinner spot. You really don’t need to leave hotel Mawimbi, it was the nicest part of the island! Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back!
