GBAs there is very little accommodation in San Carlos I think this was probably the best on offer. We had to push for the room with private bathroom that we had booked on booking.com but I was happy with the room and the beds and the security of the place

We had to take two rooms as a family with 2 small children on Booking. This would appear to be more of a Booking.com issue.
AUI only had an overnight stay awaiting the border crossing. I arrived late and Lionel was very accommodating and made me feel welcome. He gave me ongoing travel information and dinner recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean. The rear yard was lovely and lush, when I looked in the morning. I only wish I had more time to stay a few days. Lake view from the front balconey too.
