provide a gas plate to use during loadshedding to heat water. make sure information sheet is provided (eg. wifi password). it was missing when we arrived.

Mist beautiful old farm . Beautiful trees . Perfect location.

The property, grounds and gardens are the true highlights of this stay. The unit itself is ok, clean and comfortable. A few touch-ups and improvements with furniture and design would go a long way.

We messaged the manager 3 times about checking in later at night and never heard back for over 20 hours. As visitors from another country we were very nervous bc this property is in the middle of no where, it's not close to anything and there's no cell phone coverage. When we arrived it was pitch black and the signs were not visible even though we given a map. The estate is many acres so we were stranded with no one to even greet us. Thank God the Uber driver was so nice that he left then came back bc he felt so bad for us. He spent 20 minutes helping us find the room and refused to leave us to sleep on the ground outside. When you run a business like this you should be absolutely committed to communication. This first night was a horrible experience. By the time the manager replied we already figured it all out. Honestly, we should be refunded that first night.

Location is ideal, as everything is reachable in a short time

As per the room description on the website, the en suite room is more suitable for visitors passing through and need a place to stop for one night. We stayed longer and would have appreciated more kitchenette facilities

The place was so beautiful, with a lot of green and a very nice pool :) also communication went very smooth and the people were really nice!
