Natte Valleij

The host was very friendly and helpful from the beginning. The cottage is just lovely and so well positioned. We loved watching the horses feed on the grass first thing in the morning. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The beds were lovely. Although we didn't manage to use the art studio we loved the idea of being able to do some art during out stay. The farm is well positioned and close to so many fun activities. We were sorry we didn't stay longer and will definitely be back

Although I do know I could have read the website as it does give the details I would only suggest that you ask your guests if they would like to have a wine tasting. I wasn't 100% sure if it was available and yes could have asked but got a bit distracted so didn't think of it. But I won't deduct any points for this one.

Winery in itself surrounded by other imminent vineyards. Very clean and quiet, historic construction, lots of trees and plants, picturesque - lots of photogenic spots to take a picture. The owner Chatlene is a very nice lady who cares and appreciates her guests.

Beautiful gardens, clean and light room, location is close to some lovely wine farms and the perfect distance away from neighbouring towns (not too close but not too far). Bath is wonderful but there is no shower

No shower, not even a shower-over-bath, even the hand shower doesn’t work at all. Lots of space in the bathroom for a shower to be added. The water is blue indicating that the copper pipes are eroding. Under the toilet looks gross (brown pipe.) No bin in the room or bag for the bathroom bin (we found one around the side, but no information about bins was provided.) No bath soap was provided or extra toilet paper, or anything to use to wash the dishes. The screens on the windows are a brilliant idea but a bit silly because there’s a gap behind them that lets the bugs through,, also they are broken and can only be shoved open by using that gap to open them from behind. One thing that is I guess out of the host’s control is the screaming children (1 in particular…) and barking dogs. Very difficult to have an afternoon/evening nap both days we were there :(
