ITLadina is a cozy and relaxed Homestay. All rooms on the second floor and the hosts live in the ground floor, which gives perfect privacy while they are always available if you need anything. The hosts were kind to help us with washing and scooters when we requested. The room was spacious and very comfy. The room gets really hot in the evening as it is west facing. But we never had any problem to sleep with the fan on, mosquito net, and window open. Fantastic location.
The fan was quite loud if played at maximum speed. The price is a little high for not having air-conditioning, but it balances with exceptional comfort and cleanliness. The bathroom would sometimes have a sewage smell at night. But that is rather common in tropical countries and as long as you keep the door closed there is no problem at all.
FIGood location with a short walk to both beaches in the area. The room had everything necessary - no AC so the room is quite warm but there is a fan and the temperature drops during the night. Very nice and friendly hosts.
There were a couple of bugs in the room but the hosts were very helpful with this. :)
GBLadina home stay was an absolute pleasure. The host was very accommodating, they even went as far as helping us with all our washing. The location was so perfect, just 5 mins aways from the beach front. We stayed for 4 nights and would happily stay again! Thank you:)

ILClean, good location. Hooked me up with a scooter when I asked to, and did my laundry for free.
The hosts were nice but I felt a weird vibe. They knocked at my door a few times while I tried to rest. Very noisy - from the constructions around and the family living downstairs. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get. I gave them my laundry when I checked in, and when o checked out, 2 days later, I found my clothes hanged and had to take them wet. I’ve rented a scooter and they wanted me to give it back before the 24h is over. After debating with them, they agreed that I will return it in a timely manner.
NLnice homestay, clean and nice. friendly staff and good communication. I spend three nights in the homstay. Location is just outside the centre. 5-10 min. walk
near the homestay is a cafe or restaurant with music.
DEThe rooms are clean and spotless, big enough for a short stay. The outdoor seating area was useful as we traveled as a family and had two rooms. The Homestay is not far from Hiriketiya Beach. The family is super friendly and our son enjoyed playing with their little boy. Would absolutely recommend!
