Good place to stay - great kitchen and cosy bed!

This is a room in a private house, the owners share kitchen, living space, bathroom. It was extremely cozy and comfortable. Very close to stores and gas station, a 16 min. drive to the airport. Quiet residential area, just 5 min. to a large beach and park area. It was the perfect stay before an early flight out of Auckland for us. Would recommend!

It was initially not clear to us if the other people were also renters or the host. A short introduction would have cleared this up!

A lovely room that is elegant and comfortable, beautiful common spaces shared with the hosts. We felt like being at home and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The bed is super comfortable (neither too hard nor too soft), carpets soft and clean, a cute garden in the front and back. Host provided a plethora of teas and cookies for us as well :)

This was entirely our problem, but we booked this place for a flight the next morning, but it was actually further than we expected. It’s a very residential area that’s around 20 mins by walk to the nearest supermarket, 30 mins by bus to the town center, and you need to take 2 buses for around an hour to get to the airport (20 mins by Uber).

Friendly. Easy and clean.
