Villa Mankani Dambulla, centrally located in the cultural triangle

The place was very calm, quiet, and relaxing. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was spacious and beautifully designed with comfortable chalets that blended nicely with nature. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a serene environment!

De locatie is prachtig, een goede plek om tot rust te komen. Het zwembad is heel schoon en geeft veel verkoeling. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben twee keer 's avonds bij Mankani gegeten en het was beide keren erg lekker. We raden Villa Mankani zeker aan!

Great location at a mango plantage. Bungalow giving you a full nature experience, so if you can't handle it, take the rooms in the houses. The staff is very kind and helpful, the even prepared dinner exactly according our needs, since we are in a special diet.

Upper windows in the bungalow could be cleaned.

This place in Dambulla is a true hidden gem! It has the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort, all while keeping you close to nature. Binura, the chef, made us feel so cared for with her delicious meals that carried a real motherly touch. Anula was wonderful—always kind, supportive, and quick to help with anything we needed. On top of it all, the villas felt completely safe and welcoming, making our stay so relaxing and memorable.

Very warm and accommodating staffs and facilities especially our room was very spacious, relaxing and comfortable. You will find peace in this place.

We stayed two nights at Villa Mankani, it was amazing! The house we had was huge and modern, the bathroom was really nice and it was very clean. Most of the time we were alone and it was so quiet and relaxing. We also ate breakfast and dinner there - both were very delicious. The staff arranged tuk-tuks for us and even organized a trip to see the sunrise at Pidurangala. The location is great too: the Cave Temple and the town center are only about 10 minutes away. Thanks so much for everything – we loved this place and would definitely come again. It was magical!

A comfortable stay not too far from Sigiriya with plenty of space to relax and chill. The team helming this place is absolutely welcoming and warm, too. Food prepared was homely and gives you a flavour of Sri Lankan food.

Nada, todo fue genial

Het ontvangst was hartelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Wij hadden een Tiny House. Wakker worden met uitzicht over het land en de bossen was vanuit deze accommodatie heerlijk. Ook een klein maar erg fijn zwembad en je kunt dineren op het verblijf.

De douche viel erg tegen. De vloer bestaat uit houten latten met daaronder een stalen plaat die niet- of slecht kan worden schoongemaakt. Een vies gezicht! Douchewater loop rechtstreeks naar buiten. Er was in de kamer geen WiFi, daarvoor moet je naar de receptie. Wellicht dat de andere verblijven op de locatie beter zijn.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting the cave temples, elephant migration and sigira rock. This is a true hidden gem…with just 4 chalets spotted around a mango farm, with a lovely central pool. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to help up us. Whenever we went to the pool towels and water were immediately bought to us, and they happily served us incredible fruit platters when requested (at no additional charge). The manager was really helpful in sorting out transport for us, and advising about the best way to do things, and Anula (the cook) was absolutely fantastic - serving up delicious food every night and delighting in our enjoyment of it. As a family it was wonderful to have a central area between the two rooms with a fridge and sink (and even a stove - but no cooking equipment). We were able to keep drinks and food cold and fresh, and we had somewhere to sit together in the evenings to play games and chat.

Being an eco-resort the hotel does not currently have any drinks available other than water (because they don’t want to use plastic). This just meant we had to buy drinks and keep them in our fridge to drink as wished. On the upside I’m sure this saved us money!
