Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse

Hida was the perfect host. She made us feel so welcome, even though we weren’t too happy on the first day. We had expected the island to offer a bit more, but after adjusting to the peace and quiet we had the most relaxing time ever. The guesthouse itself was lovely, very clean, and gave us a real feeling of being at home. We only ate at the guesthouse, as there weren’t any other options. The food was always delicious and the service outstanding. The beds were very comfortable, and the AC in the rooms worked perfectly. We didn’t join any of the excursions, apart from snorkeling along the house reef. For us, it would have been helpful to know that the corner stores accept credit cards and that there is an ATM on the island. There was no need at all to exchange USD into MVR. We can’t thank Hida enough for being so kind, friendly, and open, and for making our 5-day stay as good as possible. Thanks also for the coffee recommendation in Malé – we really loved the coffee!

Déjà des notre arrivée nous avons été très bien pris en charge , puis nous avons été très bien accueilli par Hida. Tout était très propre, très bien équipé. Toute l’équipe était aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Hida was great host, she was so nice and helpful. The food was delicious, we really recommend eating at their restaurant cause it was top tier. :) the rooms were nice and cosy, the atmosphere was great. All of her staff was helpful and nice and took care of us really well. The accommodation was close to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, really well equipped (net hammocks and stuff like that)... also they offer great trips for affordable prices. Overall it was great experience. Thank you :)

Прекрасный гостевой дом, тихий, по домашнему уютный, удобная мебель в номере, очень отзывчивый и доброжелательный персонал, прекрасное расположение, невероятные морские экскурсии, прекрасно организованные, волшебная атмосфера и острова и самого гостевого дома.. хочется когда нибудь вернуться чтобы повторить свои ощущения

Staying at Dhoani felt like discovering my own private slice of the Maldives. It had everything I needed—comfy rooms, delicious home-cooked meals, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. After days full of adventure, coming back to such a cozy space was the perfect way to unwind. Hida and her team were incredible—always smiling, warm, and genuinely attentive. They went out of their way to make my stay extra special and memorable. I felt truly welcomed, like part of the family.. What made this trip even more special was being on a small, local island. It gave me a real taste of Maldivian culture, far from the crowds. Between the stunning beach, the vibrant house reef, and the nearby islands worth exploring, every day was a new adventure. The guesthouse has everything you need! It felt like our own local paradise away from everyone else, and we had yummy meals and a comfy room to come home to at the end of a day full of adventure. The hosts were always smiling, attentive, and willing to do anything to make our stay even more special. We loved being on a small, local island, getting to see the Maldivian culture, not to mention the beautiful beach, nearby island, and amazing house reef.

We had such a great time here! The hotel is very clean, and the room service was always quick and helpful. Everyone at the guesthouse was super friendly. A big thx to Hidha, she was amazing and always available whenever we needed something 💛 The food was honestly the best we’ve ever had! So delicious and full of flavor. I'll really miss those meals! 🥹🤍 The internet worked well, the beach was beautiful, and we saw so many colorful fish while snorkeling. There were also many fun activities like swimming with whale sharks, fishing, and lunch on another island. This place felt really special compared to other islands. We got to enjoy unique trips like private getaways and sandbank picnics, which made our stay even more unforgettable. Thx for everything! Wishing the whole team lots of love! 🥰
