Our stay at Dhoani was too short, but we are already planning our return trip. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions promptly. Instructions on where to find the speedboat were detailed, and we had no difficulty finding the right boat. The food was delicious and well-priced. We visited 3 local islands and the snorkelling excursions taken with Dhonai were superior. The house reef also has much to offer if you are interested in snorkeling. Staff at Dhoani also organised our travel to another local island by private speedboat at a good price which saved us 1-2 days of travel.

Some suggestions were made for improvement and these were recieved well by staff.

I loved how clean the property was. It’s also quiet and staff are very polite they don’t constantly knock or disturb you. The staff- especially Hudah and her husband, marvelous people!! Really made me comfortable and offered activities to do for entertainment and to keep busy.

The food was quite the let down for me. I understand that the kitchen staff did their best but it was quite cold and the chips were air fried despite asking for actual fried chips. Also the options are not in plenty and mostly local food that may take some getting used to. There’s a major difference between resort islands and local islands and I didn’t know this until I checked in. So please advising if you’re travelling for leisure to get a resort. Where you can make use of facilities like the pool & have buffet breakfast etc. also if you can chose the seaplane transfer and not the 2.5 hour speedboat transfer as you’re bound to get motion sick from how the boats are driven (this is not the hotel’s fault).

Very nice hotel, very clean room and efficient room service. Friendly people at the hotel. The food is really amazing, I have never tasted such delicious food! There are delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs from Sri Lanka. I will really miss these dishes and I will never forget the flavors!🥹🤍 The interten is working very well, the beach is very beautiful and the ocean is deep full of many colorful fishes. We were offered various impressive and fun activities, for example: swimming with whale sharks, fishing, visiting a resort, having lunch on another island. We spent very beautiful and unforgettable days on this island! Good luck and thank you for everything!☀️

Pleasant environment and people. The staff always try to be attentive. They always care for the well being of the customer. They have the best chef and the dishes are very tasty.

-The accommodation was cosy, modern and clean. It felt home. - the island itself is small and has a beautiful beach, but my highlight was the days on a small private island organised by the staff, as well as the day trips they planned for me. - the food was freshly prepared every day and really exceptionally tasty. - A big thank you goes to the staff who organised both my arrival and departure, who responded to all my requests and made me feel comfortable and and made my stay perfect.

The workers were amazing and so proactive. The stay was smooth and well organized. Easy access to activity and a calm beach. I would definitely recommend and renew the experience.
